Digital Control Panel for Water Heaters Singapore

Digital control panels replace the traditional water heater switch and allow users to save more energy with temperature reducing controls.

The main difference between a digital water heater and a conventional water heater is that the digital water heaters replace the conventional water heater switch with an electronic touch screen panel of the same size. They are more energy efficient than conventional electric water heaters mainly because the touch screen panel allows you to adjust the water heater thermostat with ease while you cannot do the same with a regular switch.

Digital control panels replace the traditional water heater switch and allow users to save more energy with temperature reducing controls.

Water heaters are similar to air conditioners. Every degree we increase on our air conditioner thermostat saves a significant amount of energy. In the same way, every degree we decrease on our water heater thermostats save lots of energy too.

In the past, all water heaters were set at 60-70°C. Because users had no control panel to adjust the temperature of their heaters, their water heaters continued to consume high power at home. The ideal thermostat setting on digital water heaters are 50°C. Setting the thermostat at a lower temperature means less water is heated and more energy is saved. It is not advisable to set temperatures below 50°C as it will encourage the growth of legionalla bacteria.
