Water Heater Disinfection Services
Water heater tank disinfection is growing in popularity amidst rising concerns of viruses. Clean water standards are rising with news of each covid variant!
Regular maintenance prevents contamination
We perform hundreds of maintenance works for households each year. Often, we observe rust and brown water from heaters only after three years of use.
All water tanks need attention and regular maintenance. Even our water tanks above HDB undergo inspection every 12 months.
This is a mandatory from PUB. Failing which, tanks can become a potential source of contamination for the public.
HDB tanks undergo maintenance on a schedule.
When was the last time you saw a tank cleaning notice?
It pays to be alert. End users can become innocent victims as residue and bacteria are invisible to the naked eye.
Water heater maintenance for your home
Just as our building water tanks are well maintained, we should upkeep our own storage water heaters at home.
Enterprise Singapore advises regular heater maintenance every three years. As the home unit is smaller, these guidelines are not enforced.
A water heater maintenance session costs between $150 to $350. A chlorine cleanse costs slightly more, and is dependent on tank size. Special rates apply if you are an existing AOS client. WhatsApp us to find out more.
What if you want more regular maintenance?
If you have higher standards for water cleanliness, go for a pre-filter. Pre-filters allow you to flush out visible sediments every few weeks. There is no need to wait for the full disinfection every three years.
Pre-filters are installed before the water heater to prevent sediments from entering it. They can also be used in the kitchen for food preparation.
How do you know if your tank is due for a disinfection?
If you are an existing AOS client, you’ll get a reminder text every three years.
Otherwise, get in touch with us over WhatsApp and we’ll check it out for you.
