Up front cost is reasonable, and no need to maintain it every few years (unlike storage)
Heat pumps have 5-ticks, but these come with conditions. You need at least a family of 5. Forgot to turn off your BathBox? No sweat. A tankless system only draws power when your mixer tap is on. If water is not flowing, the unit is auto off.

1. No heat loss: a tankless heater does not store water, so it can't lose heat.

Types of Showers and How to Pair them
BathBox water pressure is higher than an instant heater, but lower than a storage heater. This is because it is designed to save water.
How will this affect your shower head?
• Instant: you can only use the low-flow hand shower that comes with the heater
• BathBox: can use any hand shower, rain showers not recommended
• Storage: can use rain showers.
If you must have a rain shower, I recommend you go for the Gen 6 Storage Heater.
The BathBox is Not an Instant Heater.
BathBox is fixed far away from the shower area, at the dry area of your bathroom. We like this location because it is placed high up, safely away from the shower point.
Unlike an instant heater, your shower water will not easily come into direct contact with the water heater. The risk of electrocution is low. This is additional layer of security that guards you against electric shock hazards.
Easy Temperature Control at Mixer

How to use the Mixer
• On cold days if you want a hotter shower, move lever to the hot side.
• If you want even hotter water, shut the lever by 50%. This reduces the flow and boosts the temperature.
• On hot days, a cooler shower may be more refreshing!
Limit 1: One Shower at a Time
All heaters have their limits and the BathBox is no different. It is sensitive to water pressure changes.
The BathBox can serve only one shower at a time. If any one else uses hot water at the other shower, you will feel a water pressure drop. The chance this happens is low if your family size is small.
Use of cold water at washing machine or taps at the same time may also affect water pressure for 2 seconds. BathBox needs time to adjust to changing water pressure.
Limit 2: On Cold Days, Expect Cooler Water
Singapore's normal temperature is 30ºC, but sometimes it drops to 22ºC
In weather like this, all heaters are affected. But it will seem like BathBox will produce less hot water. Here's why.
On a normal 30ºC day, the temperatures we get from BathBox and Storage are comparable. 38ºC is great for most people!
Let's See What Happens When the Weather Gets Cooler
The BathBox max temp drops from 41ºC to 34ºC. The storage heater still heats up to 50ºC. While both sides now experience cooler water, the drop at the BathBox side is more obvious.
Our super cold weather only lasts max 3 weeks in a year, but if you prefer very hot showers on a rainy day, consider using a Gen 6 Storage Heater.
With a BathBox, you get a sleek and tiny size, but lower heating power than a storage heater. It is a trade-off you should consider.
