Inside Look at the AOS Heater's Heavy-Duty Insulation.
The Gen 1 storage heater has thick high density foam insulation. This foam is injected into the heater shell. It expands to fill in every little gap in the heater jacket for seamless insulation. You need a special machine for this.
This special foam insulation retains heat after 18 hours. Other heats lose heat after a short 8 hours.
Better heat retention = less reheating.
Less reheating = lower energy burn.
Low energy = low bills.
Don't go for the cheap stuff. Cheap factories give you thin insulation. You will end up paying more long-term.

Decided to take the plunge after doing research and has been using it for the past 6 months. The price might be higher than the more common and popular brands but the water does remain heated longer. I would just need to on it once in the evening and the water will remain heated for the next 24 hours or longer, depending on your usage and the tank capacity.

Not accurately, but you can adjust the temperature at the knob on the right side of the tank. Setting temperatures will range around 60 to 70ºC.
