Have been using the heat pump water heater for 6 months. It's possible to use climate change voucher for it. Idle power stands at 4w only, so you can always on it without worrying about eating too much power. Its large tank is also good if multiple bathrooms use the hot water simultaneously. Overall, it's the best heater l've used and totally no complaints.

Landed Heat Pump FAQ
Do I need a circulating pump?
Almost 95% of landed homes use a circulating pump. Hot water from the heater will run in a circulation loop around the house. Each bathroom will tee off from the loop to get hot water fast.
A circulating pump pumps hot water around the loop. This pump does not increase or decrease your water pressure.
Without a circulating pump, each bathroom will have to wait several minutes for hot water!
Why are heat pumps more efficient than solar heaters?
Solar heaters have high-power backup heating elements. There are often activated when conditions are unfavourable. These conditions include rainy days, cloudy days and evenings. When heating elements activate, solar heaters are low efficiency.
Heat pumps are a more efficient system because they have a much larger working range. They work on high efficiency, as long as the temperature does not drop below 7ºC.
What is the electricity consumption of heat pumps?
Electric water heaters: 3000W
Micro heat pumps: 210W
Central heat pumps: 460W
Heat pumps draw in plenty of free energy from heat in the ambient air. Micro heat pumps alone can save an estimated $600/year.
Can I leave the heat pump main switch on all the time?
Yes, you can leave the switch on all the time. Heat pumps are automatic systems and will cut off when the temperature is right.
There will not be any wastage of electricity.
Why do heat pumps use so little energy compared to electric heaters?
Electric heaters create heat using 3000-watt heating elements.
Heat pumps do not create heat. They transfer heat from the ambient air with the use of a small compressor that runs on only 210 watts.
Why are heat pumps bigger than electric heaters?
Heat pumps are renewable energy heaters. Their tanks are larger than usual because they generate heat slower.
A large tank serves as a reservoir for stored energy.
Can I switch to a Individual Heater layout halfway?
Once your water pipes are set, it will be costly to make this change.
